Are Naieve Skincare products safe to use on my baby?

Yes! We recommend using Naieve Skincare products on children over 6 weeks of age. Additionally, all products have been pH-balanced to be within the range of 5.0-5.5, making them super mild and gentle, perfect for the whole family.
Are your products pH-balanced and fragrance-free?

Yes, they are! All our water-based products have had their pH carefully balanced to within 5.0-5.5. This makes them extra mild and gentle, suitable for precious skin. Oil-based products do not require pH-balancing, due to their lack of hydrogen ions. As for fragrance, our products contain a very small amount of essential oils. No Naieve Skincare product contains synthetic fragrance.
Are Naieve Skincare products made from natural ingredients?

All our products are made from naturally derived ingredients! So, you can rest assure that only the best ingredients have gone into our lotions and potions.
What preservatives are used in your products?

Our water-based products use the same preservative system that is used for preserving food - sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. They have been proven to be safe when used correctly. Oil-based products do not require preservation as bacteria and fungi require water to grow. All products have been certified as safely preserved by an independent testing facility.
Are your ingredients Certified Organic?

Some of ingredients are Certified Organic (denoted by the asterisk in our ingredients lists), but many are not. We are continuously working to increase the number of organic materials used in our products.
What is your packaging made out of?

Naieve Skincare passionately believes in sustainability and protecting our environment. All our bottles contain Wheat Straw Plastic, so you can be confident that our company is working to reduce our overall reliance on oil-derived plastics.
What age are your products suitable for?

Naieve Skincare products have been formulated to be safe for all ages, including babies and children. Mummy and Daddy are also invited to try our products! Midwifery guidelines however suggests use products from 6 weeks.
Do your products contain alcohol?

We do not use what you would commonly term “alcohol” (this generally refers to drying alcohols) in any of our formulations. Any reference to “alcohol” on our labels refers to the wax alcohols or Cetearyl alcohol which are classed as moisturising alcohols. Cetearyl alcohol is made from various vegetable oils such as sustainable palm and coconut. These bear little relation to common alcohol, which is a volatile liquid and quite drying.
Is there a product that will help with cradle cap?

Coming from a place of experience, our Body Oil is perfect for helping to remove cradle cap. Apply a small amount of the oil to the affected area and use a soft brush or toothbrush to gently loosen the scales.
Does Naieve Skincare test their products on animals?

Absolutely not. All our ingredients and finished products have never been tested on animals.
Are your products safe to use if I have a nut allergy?

We do not use any products that are made from or are derived from nuts. While we do not produce any products that contain nuts, we cannot 100% guarantee that cross-contamination has not occurred. Perform a patch test before use if you are unsure.
Are your products considered gluten-free?

Yes, they are. Naieve Skincare does not use any ingredients that are made from or derived from gluten.
